Best Individual Performances of the 2026 Roswell Invaders Season
The 2026 Roswell Invaders season was filled with huge offensive performances, dominant pitching outings and dramatic late-inning victories. Roswell's lineup proved capable of putting up enormous numbers, while the pitching staff delivered several memorable performances of its own. From eight-RBI games and multi-home-run performances to complete-game shutouts and extra-inning heroics, these were some of the best individual performances of the 2026 Roswell Invaders season.
Xander Nabors — 6 Hits, 2 Home Runs and 8 RBIs vs. Santa Fe
Xander Nabors delivered one of the biggest offensive performances of the entire Pecos League season on June 3 against the Santa Fe Fuego. Nabors went 6-for-8, scored six runs, hit two home runs and drove in eight runs as Roswell exploded for a 36-8 victory. The Invaders finished the game with 27 hits and seven home runs. Nabors was right in the middle of virtually everything as Roswell put together one of the most explosive offensive games of the 2026 season.
The performance was one of many huge games for Nabors, who eventually finished the season as the Pecos League Mountain Division Hitter of the Year.
Orin Winslow — Home Run and Six Scoreless Innings in the Same Game
The June 3 victory over Santa Fe wasn't only about Nabors. Orin Winslow turned in one of the most unusual two-way performances of the season. Winslow collected two hits, hit a home run and drove in three runs at the plate. He then earned the victory on the mound by throwing six scoreless innings, allowing only four hits while striking out eight.
On a night when Roswell scored 36 runs, Winslow managed to stand out both as a hitter and as a pitcher.
Stephen Moraski — Complete-Game Three-Hit Shutout vs. Grand Junction
Stephen Moraski authored one of Roswell's finest pitching performances of the season on June 14 against the Grand Junction Razorback Suckers. Moraski went the distance in a 10-0 Roswell victory, allowing only three hits, walking nobody and striking out seven.
While Roswell's offense scored 10 runs on 13 hits, Moraski made sure there would never be any doubt about the outcome. Grand Junction managed only three hits in the entire game as Moraski completed the shutout without issuing a walk.
Taylor Steig — 5 RBIs in 17-7 Victory over Santa Fe
Taylor Steig had one of his biggest games of the year on June 17 when Roswell defeated Santa Fe 17-7. Steig went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three runs scored and five RBIs.
Steig helped Roswell finish the night with 20 hits. Ryan Flores added four hits, while Carson Kirby went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
Colin Sepulveda delivered one of Roswell's strongest starts on June 26 against the Pecos Bills. Sepulveda pitched seven innings, allowed only two runs on five hits and struck out eight as the Invaders won 12-7.
Steig backed him with a tremendous offensive game, going 3-for-4 with a double, triple, three runs scored and two RBIs. Christopher Martinez added two hits, two runs, an RBI and a stolen base.
Sean Moore — 4-for-5, Home Run, 5 RBIs and 3 Stolen Bases
Sean Moore showed virtually every part of his offensive game on June 30 against the Alpine Cowboys. Moore went 4-for-5 with a home run, four runs scored, five RBIs and three stolen bases as Roswell defeated Alpine 13-9.
It was a rare combination of hitting, power, run production and speed in one game. Christopher Martinez also went 3-for-6 and scored three runs, while Nabors had two hits, a double and four RBIs.
Jorge Carreo — Two Home Runs and 8 RBIs vs. Alpine
One night later, Jorge Carreo produced one of the biggest run-producing performances of the season. On July 1, Roswell fell behind after Alpine scored eight runs in the second inning. The Invaders responded with an offensive avalanche and eventually won 29-11.
Carreo collected three hits, blasted two home runs, scored four times and drove in eight runs. James Harris drove in five runs, Nabors knocked in four and Martinez scored five runs and homered.
James Harris and Ryan Flores — Ninth-Inning Walk-Off Rally vs. Pecos
One of Roswell's most dramatic victories came July 8 against the Pecos Bills. The Invaders entered the bottom of the ninth trailing 6-4 before James Harris singled home Christopher Martinez to cut the deficit to one. Harris later scored the tying run on a wild pitch.
Ryan Flores then delivered the game-winning hit, singling to center field to score Carson Kirby and give Roswell a 7-6 walk-off victory. Harris finished 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs.
Noah Cantleberry — 10 Strikeouts vs. Santa Fe
Noah Cantleberry dominated Santa Fe on July 20. Cantleberry worked seven innings and allowed just one run on five hits while striking out 10 and walking only one. He threw 75 strikes in 100 pitches as Roswell won 6-3.
Steig supplied most of the offense, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs, while Ryan Torres went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Moraski delivered another outstanding complete game on July 21 as Roswell defeated Santa Fe 15-3. Stephen Moraski pitched all nine innings, allowing three runs, only two earned, on six hits while striking out seven and walking two.
He even contributed offensively with a double, a run scored and a stolen base. Steig went 4-for-5 with two doubles, three runs and two RBIs, Harris collected three hits and scored three runs, and Moore stole four bases.
Christopher Martinez — Six Runs and Six RBIs in a 26-10 Win
One of the most remarkable stat lines of the season belonged to Christopher Martinez on July 22 against Santa Fe.
Martinez officially went 2-for-2, but those numbers tell only part of the story. He hit a double and a home run, walked three times, scored six runs and drove in six. Roswell erased an early 5-0 deficit and eventually overwhelmed Santa Fe 26-10.
Steig went 3-for-5 and drove in five runs, Nabors went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, Harris had three hits and three RBIs, and Moore scored four times and drove in three. Martinez's six runs and six RBIs, however, made his performance one of the most unusual and productive games of Roswell's entire season.
Xander Nabors — Two Home Runs and 5 RBIs in Wild 14-13 Victory
On July 25 against Tucson, Nabors again delivered when Roswell needed him most. Xander Nabors hit two home runs and drove in five as Roswell won an incredible 14-13 game.
His three-run homer in the eighth gave Roswell a 12-9 lead. Tucson scored four times in the ninth to move back ahead, but the Invaders responded again. A bases-loaded walk tied the game before Colin Sepulveda drew another bases-loaded walk to force home Ryan Flores with the winning run.
Xander Nabors — 4-for-5 and 5 RBIs vs. Grand Junction
Nabors produced another monster game on July 31 against Grand Junction. He went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored, five RBIs and a stolen base in Roswell's 10-9 victory.
With Roswell trailing 8-5 in the fourth inning, Xander Nabors hit a three-run home run to tie the game. After Grand Junction eventually tied the score at 9-9, Nabors singled, stole second and advanced to third before James Harris singled him home with the deciding run.
Xander Nabors Delivers the Extra-Inning Knockout at Garden City
One of the season's biggest clutch hits came on August 4 in Garden City. Roswell trailed 9-6 entering the ninth inning but rallied for three runs to force extra innings.
In the top of the tenth, Ryan Torres and Christopher Martinez reached base ahead of Xander Nabors. Nabors then launched a three-run home run that put Roswell ahead 12-9. He finished with four RBIs and two runs scored.
Terry Daniels also had a huge game, going 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored, while Harris collected three hits and two RBIs.
The 2026 Roswell Invaders had no shortage of unforgettable individual performances. Nabors' 6-for-8, two-home-run, eight-RBI performance against Santa Fe stands among the biggest offensive games of the year, while Carreo matched the eight-RBI mark with two home runs against Alpine. Martinez produced the remarkable combination of six runs and six RBIs in one game, and Moore combined four hits, five RBIs and three stolen bases in another.
On the mound, Moraski's complete-game three-hit shutout against Grand Junction was one of the team's defining pitching performances. Cantleberry's 10-strikeout game against Santa Fe, Sepulveda's eight-strikeout performance against Pecos and Winslow's combination of six scoreless innings and a home run gave the Invaders several other memorable nights on the mound.
But Nabors repeatedly found himself at the center of Roswell's biggest moments. He delivered eight RBIs against Santa Fe, five RBIs against Tucson, five RBIs against Grand Junction and the decisive three-run home run in extra innings at Garden City. Those performances helped cap a season in which Nabors hit .391 with 12 home runs, 80 RBIs, 72 runs, 15 doubles, five triples and 21 stolen bases and was named the Pecos League Mountain Division Hitter of the Year.
The combination of huge offensive nights, dominant pitching performances and dramatic comeback victories made the 2026 season one of the most memorable seasons in Roswell Invaders history.
