Best Individual Performances of the 2025 Roswell Invaders Season
The 2025 Roswell Invaders season featured several outstanding individual performances at the plate and on the mound. While the Invaders battled through a difficult season, there were nights when Roswell's hitters took over games and nights when the pitching staff delivered some of its best baseball of the summer. From four-hit games and home runs to eight-inning starts and eight-strikeout performances, these were some of the best individual performances of the 2025 Roswell Invaders season.
Shane Marrow — 4-for-4, Home Run and 4 RBIs vs. Pecos
One of the biggest offensive performances of Roswell's season came from Shane Marrow on June 14 against the Pecos Bills at Joe Bauman Stadium.
Marrow was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with four runs scored, a home run, four RBIs and three walks as Roswell defeated Pecos 23-14. Roswell collected 21 hits and scored in six different innings, including an incredible 11-run fourth inning.
Marrow wasn't alone in the offensive explosion. Yoinis Aleksandrov went 3-for-4, scored three runs, drove in two and walked three times. Michael Fisk collected three hits and scored twice, while Sloan Laird added three hits.
Gerson Cadzillia — Winning Pitcher in Roswell's 23-14 Offensive Explosion
The same June 14 game also produced a big effort from Gerson Cadzillia. Cadzillia earned the victory after working six innings for Roswell.
He also contributed at the plate with a hit and scored two runs. The game was a perfect example of the type of baseball Roswell was capable of playing when its entire lineup got rolling. The Invaders scored 23 runs on 21 hits and reached base another 16 times by walks.
Ty Murray and Sloan Laird — Four Hits Each at Trinidad
Two of Roswell's biggest offensive performances came in the same game on June 29 at Trinidad. Ty Murray and Sloan Laird each collected four hits as Roswell defeated the Trinidad Triggers 11-4.
Murray went 4-for-5, scored twice and drove in two runs. Laird also went 4-for-5, scored a run and drove in another. Together, Murray and Laird went 8-for-10 at the top of the Roswell lineup.
Roswell finished the afternoon with an incredible 21 hits. Maikol Perez, Najay King and Shane Marrow each added two hits as the Invaders put together one of their most complete offensive games of the season.
Phillip Sanders — Winning Pitcher in 11-4 Victory at Trinidad
While Roswell's 21-hit attack received much of the attention on June 29, Phillip Sanders gave the Invaders the pitching performance they needed and earned the victory in the 11-4 win over Trinidad.
With Murray and Laird combining for eight hits and Roswell consistently putting runners on base, Sanders helped make sure the offensive production resulted in one of the team's most convincing road victories of the season.
Gerson Cadzillia — 6 Innings and 8 Strikeouts vs. Alpine
One of the best pitching performances of the season came from Gerson Cadzillia against the Alpine Cowboys in July.
Cadzillia worked six innings, allowed only four hits and struck out eight as Roswell defeated Alpine 8-2 at Joe Bauman Stadium. It was one of the strongest combinations of innings, strikeouts and run prevention by a Roswell pitcher during the 2025 season.
Cadzillia's performance gave the Invaders control of the game and Michael Martinez helped finish the job out of the bullpen.
Cadzillia's outstanding pitching performance was backed by a huge night from Sloan Laird.
Laird went 4-for-5 to lead the Roswell offense as the Invaders collected 13 hits in the 8-2 victory. It was Laird's second four-hit performance during a stretch in which he became one of Roswell's most productive hitters.
Chad Bayne also contributed to the victory as Roswell combined strong pitching with a 13-hit offensive attack.
Ira Clifton — Eight-Inning Performance in 7-3 Win over Alpine
Ira Clifton delivered one of the longest and most important starts of Roswell's season against Alpine, working eight innings as the Invaders defeated the Cowboys 7-3 at Joe Bauman Stadium.
Clifton faced 39 hitters and carried the pitching load for virtually the entire game. At a time when Roswell needed length from its starting pitching, Clifton gave the Invaders eight innings and helped Roswell secure one of its strongest victories of the summer.
Shane Marrow helped provide the offense with two hits in three at-bats.
Connor Wilt — Winning Pitcher in One-Run Victory at Trinidad
Connor Wilt earned one of Roswell's toughest victories of the season when the Invaders edged the Trinidad Triggers 4-3.
Wilt earned the win and Gerson Cadzillia recorded the save as Roswell held Trinidad to three runs on eight hits.
Offensively, Ty Murray reached base twice and scored two of Roswell's four runs. Mikey Alonzo went 2-for-4, while Chad Bayne came off the bench and delivered an RBI hit.
Ty Murray — Three Hits and Two RBIs against Garden City
Not all of the season's best individual performances came in victories. Ty Murray had an outstanding individual game against the powerful Garden City Wind on June 16.
Murray went 3-for-4 with a walk, scored a run and drove in two of Roswell's five runs. The three-hit performance came against a Garden City club that was one of the strongest teams in the league.
Murray continued to establish himself as one of Roswell's most consistent offensive threats during the season. In a June road game at Trinidad, Ty Murray went 3-for-5, scored a run and drove in another.
Even though Roswell didn't get the victory, it was another multi-hit performance for Murray and part of a productive stretch that eventually had his batting average sitting around the .340 mark late in June.
That same game also featured one of Chad Bayne's best offensive performances. Bayne went 3-for-5, scored a run and drove in a run.
Bayne's three hits were part of a 12-hit Roswell attack. Yoinis Aleksandrov added two hits, while Najay King reached base four times with a hit and three walks.
The 2025 season was a difficult one in the standings for the Roswell Invaders, but the final record doesn't tell the entire story of the individual performances produced during the summer.
Shane Marrow's perfect 4-for-4 night with a home run, four runs and four RBIs against Pecos stands as one of the most impressive offensive performances of the season. Ty Murray and Sloan Laird combining for eight hits in an 11-4 road victory at Trinidad was another unforgettable offensive night.
Laird also produced four hits in Roswell's 8-2 victory over Alpine, while Murray delivered multiple three-hit and four-hit games during the season.
On the mound, Gerson Cadzillia's six-inning, eight-strikeout performance against Alpine was one of Roswell's strongest starts. Ira Clifton gave the Invaders eight innings in a 7-3 victory over the Cowboys, Connor Wilt earned the victory in a tight 4-3 game at Trinidad, and Phillip Sanders earned the win when Roswell exploded for 21 hits in an 11-4 victory over the Triggers.
The Invaders' biggest offensive victory came in the 23-14 win over Pecos, when Roswell collected 21 hits and scored 11 runs in a single inning. The lineup produced big games throughout the order, led by Marrow's four-hit, four-RBI performance.
Those games provided some of the brightest moments of the 2025 Roswell Invaders season and showcased the individual talent that took the field at Joe Bauman Stadium and throughout the Pecos League that summer.
