Best Individual Performances of the 2023 Roswell Invaders Season
The 2023 Roswell Invaders put together another strong summer at Joe Bauman Stadium, and the season featured outstanding individual performances throughout the lineup and pitching staff. Roswell opened the season with a victory over Alpine and quickly established itself as one of the strongest clubs in the Mountain Division. From huge offensive nights and multi-home-run games to dominant starts and late-inning heroics, these were some of the best individual performances of the 2023 Roswell Invaders season.
Seth Schroeder — Three Doubles, Four Runs and 2 RBIs on Opening Night
Seth Schroeder wasted no time making an impact in 2023. In Roswell's season-opening 7-5 victory over the Alpine Cowboys on May 31, Schroeder went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, scored four times and drove in two runs.
Schroeder was involved in nearly everything Roswell did offensively. He scored Roswell's first run, helped the Invaders rally from an early deficit and added an RBI hit as Roswell pulled away late.
Lance Myers also had a strong opening night, going 2-for-3 and driving in two runs.
The combination of Schroeder's perfect night and Myers' run production helped Roswell begin its season with a victory over one of its biggest division rivals.
Seth Schroeder continued his tremendous start to the season on June 3 against the Tucson Saguaros.
Schroeder went 3-for-5 and stole a base as Roswell collected 11 hits. Lance Myers went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI, while Tom Shirai added two hits.
Although Tucson won the game 8-5, Schroeder's three-hit performance was another early indication that he was going to be one of Roswell's most productive hitters during the summer.
Colton Adams — Two Home Runs and 4 RBIs in 22-2 Victory
One of the biggest power performances of the entire Roswell season came from Colton Adams on June 6 against the Austin Weirdos.
Adams went 3-for-4, scored four runs, drove in four and blasted two home runs as Roswell overwhelmed Austin 22-2. It was a tremendous all-around performance in one of the Invaders' largest offensive victories of the season.
Adams wasn't the only Invader putting up huge numbers. Lance Myers went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs scored, an RBI and a walk.
John Tuttle drove in six runs and hit a home run, while Seth Schroeder went 3-for-5 and scored three times.
Roswell finished the game with 22 runs on 20 hits.
Lance Myers also deserves his own place among the season's best performances for what he did in the 22-2 victory over Austin.
Myers went 4-for-4, scored three runs, drove in a run and walked once. He reached base in all five of his plate appearances and helped keep Roswell's huge innings alive.
It was one of the best pure hitting performances of the season and part of a game in which Roswell's first seven hitters combined to score 20 runs.
Micah Walker had one of his best games of the season on June 7 as Roswell defeated Austin 9-4.
Walker went 2-for-3 and hit a home run to lead the Roswell offense. Ian Concevitch earned the victory on the mound as Roswell followed its 22-run performance the previous night with another convincing win.

The victory improved Roswell to 18-3 and gave the Invaders three consecutive victories over Alpine.
Lance Myers — Extra-Inning Walk-Off against Alpine

Bolton pitched seven innings and faced 34 hitters while earning the victory. Jaden Burns helped provide the offense by going 2-for-3.
Bolton's seven-inning performance gave the bullpen a lighter workload and helped Roswell earn its 26th victory of the season.
Rene Ramirez — Late-Season Victories
Rene Ramirez remained an important part of Roswell's pitching staff late in the season.
On July 23, Ramirez earned the victory as Roswell edged Austin 11-10. Three days later, he earned another victory when Roswell defeated Garden City 19-13, working four innings in the high-scoring game.

A Season Filled With Big Performances
The 2023 Roswell Invaders received memorable performances from virtually every part of their roster.
Robert Morosetti put together one of the hottest offensive stretches of the season. He recorded four hits against Santa Fe, four more against Blackwell and then went a perfect 5-for-5 with a home run against Blackwell. He followed that with another three-hit, home-run performance on June 19.
Colton Adams supplied some of Roswell's biggest power numbers. His two-home-run, four-RBI performance in the 22-2 victory over Austin was one of the season's defining offensive games, and he homered again during an 11-9 victory over Alpine.
John Tuttle's six-RBI performance against Austin was another standout night, while Lance Myers went a perfect 4-for-4 in the same game and later delivered one of the season's most memorable moments with his extra-inning walk-off hit against Alpine.
Seth Schroeder established the tone on Opening Night by going 3-for-3 with three doubles, four runs and two RBIs against Alpine. He continued producing throughout the summer and repeatedly appeared in the middle of Roswell's biggest victories.
Roswell also received strong pitching performances from Anthony Moore, Alvery De Los Santos, Humberto Vela, Ian Concevitch, Rene Ramirez, Sam Russell and Alex Bolton. Moore threw five innings without issuing a walk in the 22-2 win over Austin and later gave Roswell six innings in a victory over Alpine. De Los Santos struck out eight in a road victory at Tucson, Russell worked seven innings in a win over Santa Fe, and Bolton delivered seven innings in a late-season victory over Austin.
The combination of power, high-average hitting, quality starting pitching and clutch late-inning performances helped make the 2023 Roswell Invaders one of the strongest teams in the Mountain Division for much of the summer.
From Schroeder's three-double Opening Night to Adams' two-home-run game, Tuttle's six RBIs, Morosetti's incredible multi-hit streak and Myers' walk-off against Alpine, the 2023 season produced an impressive collection of individual performances at Joe Bauman Stadium and throughout the Pecos League.
