Wes Kartch, Josh Cakebread, Mike Miller, Reggie Taylor, A.J. Morris, Brian Ramirez and Casanova Donaldson gave Roswell a dangerous lineup, while Nathan Johnson, Charlie Short, Eric Berkowitz, D.J. Stinsman and the rest of the pitching staff supplied important innings throughout the summer.
Several Roswell players earned All-Star recognition during the season, and the Invaders produced a number of memorable individual performances. Here are some of the best from the 2012 season.
Wes Kartch — Three Hits, Home Run and Four RBIs against Alpine
Wes Kartch delivered one of the biggest offensive performances of Roswell's season on June 22 as the Invaders exploded for 21 runs against the Alpine Cowboys.
Kartch went 3-for-6 with a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored in Roswell's 21-10 victory.
His home run was his sixth of the season, and the four-RBI performance increased his season total to 31. Kartch was right in the middle of an Invaders attack that collected 15 hits and took advantage of eight Alpine errors.
Casanova Donaldson — Three Hits, Three Runs and Two Walks
Casanova Donaldson was nearly impossible to keep off base during Roswell's June 22 offensive explosion.
Donaldson went 3-for-3, drew two walks and scored three runs. He also stole a base.
Reaching base five times gave the middle of Roswell's lineup repeated opportunities to drive him home and helped the Invaders build their 21-run total.
Mike Miller — Two Hits and a Double against Alpine
Mike Miller continued his outstanding start to the season during Roswell's 21-10 victory over Alpine.
Miller went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored. At the conclusion of the game, his season batting average stood at an extraordinary .468.
Miller's ability to consistently reach base made him one of the most dangerous hitters in the Roswell lineup during the 2012 season.
Nathan Johnson — Seven Strikeouts in Victory over White Sands
Nathan Johnson turned in one of Roswell's important late-season starts on July 16 against the White Sands Pupfish.
Johnson pitched six innings, struck out seven and earned the victory as Roswell defeated White Sands 4-3.
He threw 108 pitches, 68 for strikes, and worked through a White Sands lineup that collected nine hits. Johnson kept Roswell in front long enough for the bullpen to finish the victory.
Brian Ramirez — Reached Base Three Times and Scored Twice
Brian Ramirez played a major role in Roswell's 4-3 victory over White Sands on July 16.
Ramirez had one hit and drew two walks in three plate appearances, reaching base every time he came to the plate. More importantly, he scored twice in a game Roswell won by only one run.
Josh Cakebread — Consistent Production in the Roswell Infield
Josh Cakebread was one of Roswell's most consistent hitters and earned a place on the 2012 Pecos League All-Star roster.
Cakebread was hitting .406 by the conclusion of Roswell's June 22 game against Alpine. He scored twice in that 21-10 victory and remained an important presence in the middle of the Invaders lineup throughout the season.
On July 16 against White Sands, Cakebread added another hit as Roswell earned a 4-3 victory.

Wes Kartch repeatedly delivered big games against Alpine during the 2012 season.

Brycen Bell — Home Run in Victory over Alpine
Brycen Bell delivered one of Roswell's biggest swings in a May 31 victory over Alpine.
Bell went 2-for-4 and homered as the Invaders defeated the Cowboys 10-6.
His performance helped provide the offensive support for Nathan Johnson, who earned the victory on the mound.
Nathan Johnson — Seven-Inning Victory over Alpine
Nathan Johnson supplied Roswell with an important start against Alpine on May 31.
Johnson pitched seven innings and earned the victory in Roswell's 10-6 win. The performance was another example of Johnson's ability to give the Invaders length from the starting rotation.
Johnson's season earned him selection as a starting pitcher for the Mountaineers in the 2012 Pecos League All-Star Game.
Charlie Short — Important Late-Inning Pitcher
Charlie Short was repeatedly trusted with late-inning leads during the 2012 season.
Short earned the save in Roswell's 10-6 victory over Alpine on May 31 and picked up another save in the Invaders' 7-6 victory over Alpine on June 3.
He also recorded the save when Roswell defeated Alpine 9-8 on July 7, demonstrating his importance at the back of the Roswell bullpen.

Mike Miller collected three hits, while Casanova Donaldson continued his strong season with multiple hits and an important two-run contribution in the middle innings.

His June 22 performance against Alpine was particularly memorable: three hits, a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored in a 21-10 victory.
Earlier in June he had another three-hit game with a home run against Alpine. His production earned him a spot in the Pecos League Home Run Derby and on the 2012 All-Star roster.
Reggie Taylor was another major part of Roswell's lineup and earned a place in the 2012 Pecos League All-Star Game.
Taylor was also selected to participate in the Pecos League Home Run Derby, demonstrating the power he brought to the Roswell outfield.
