The Roswell Invaders announced Garret Totty as the Club"s new manager on Tuesday, hiring the former Garden City Manager who took the Wind to the Playoffs for the last three years. 2015 Roswell Invaders Championship Manager Chris Treibt will serve as special assistant. Lance Myers has moved to Alpine where he will be an assistant coach. Totty played for the Invaders in 2018 and moved to the Dugout with the Wind in 2021. "Garrett has been a stand up manager since he first entered the league. This is a great move for Roswell." says JD Droddy of the Pecos League.

The Invaders have won the most championships of any team in the Pecos League with Four (2011,2013,2015,2022). 2023 was the only time in the history of the Invaders they did not qualify for the Playoffs.

Garrett has operated as the Field Manager for the Garden City Wind over the past three seasons. The Wind qualified for the playoffs all three years.
2023 Season- Record 30-20-Finished in 4th place in division lost to to Tucson in first round.
2022 Season- Record 36-10-Mountain Division Regular Season Champions lost to Roswell in first round.
2021 Season- Record 20-16-Defeated Colorado Springs in first round, lost to Roswell in Mountain Divison Finals.

Garrett played baseball at Bacone College (Muskogee,OK) and Labette Community College (Parsons,KS). Garrett played in the Pecos League in 2018 for the California City Whiptails and in 2019 for the Garden City Wind.

The Roswell Invaders would like to wish Lance Myers of luck and thank him for his three years of service. Myers will return to Alpine to join the Cowboys Coaching Staff. Under Myers the Invaders won their 4th Pecos League Championship in 2022 and their only championship since the league expanded to Arizona and California. In 2021 the Invaders nearly won the Championship, losing the championship game to Tucson. Myers always intended to return to Alpine. Where he played from 2017-2019 and won the Pecos League Championship as a player in 2019.

In 2020 Myers played for the Salina Stockade in Houston, where he showed interested in managing. He was named the Roswell Invaders manager where he served as a player manager from 2021-2023. Under Myers tenure the Invaders barely made the playoffs in both 2021 and 2022. But once they entered the playoffs they excelled.

2021 didn"t start as planned, the Invaders didn"t qualify for the Pecos League Playoffs. But the Bakersfield Train Robbers had a covid outbreak which allowed an additional playoff spot which the Invaders qualified for. The Invaders entered the playoffs where they defeated Alpine and Garden City before losing to Tucson in the third game of the Pecos League Finals.

In 2022 the Invaders qualified as the Mountain Divisions 4th seed. They defeated Garden City, Trinidad and Tucson all of the road to Capture their 4th Championship.

Roswell Invaders take down Alpine Cowboys 7-5 to open 2023 season

The Alpine Cowboys opened up their 2023 campaign in Roswell vs the defending champion Roswell Invaders on May 31st at Joe Bauman Stadium. Seth Schroeder started the scoring for the Invaders in the bottom of the 1st when he scored on an error by Cowboys third baseman James Prockish, giving Roswell an early lead after the first inning. However, the lead didnt stay in place for long before the Cowboys tied the game in the top of the 2nd inning. Josh Rego came in from 3rd on a passed ball, knotting the game at 1-1. The Cowboys then took the lead in the top of the 3rd inning on a two-RBI double from Prockish, giving Alpine the lead 3-1. Down two runs, Roswell wasnt giving up that easily. The Invaders also put together a 2-run 3rd inning when Schroeder and Jaden Burns were brought in on a Lance Myers single, giving Roswell a 4-3 lead after the 3rd inning. Roswell then scored 3 more unanswered runs in the 7th inning on RBI knocks from Schroeder and Dillan Smith. In a last chance effort, the Cowboys were able to scrape together two more runs in the 9th before the Invaders ended the game, taking the win 7-5. Roswells starting pitcher Edgar Martinez took the win in last nights affair, tossing 6.0 innings and striking out 8, while allowing 3 earned runs on 8 hits. Alpine starting pitcher Dom Spinoso took the loss, lasting 3.2 innings and allowing 4 runs on 4 hits, while walking 5 and striking out 8. Jonathan Fleckenstein registered a save in last nights game, throwing the last 3.0 innings for the Invaders. Fleckenstein allowed 2 runs on 2 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 2 as well. Seth Schroeder led the way for the Invaders, going 3-3 with 3 doubles and 2 RBIs. Schroeder also scored 4 times in last nights game. Lance Myers also had a stand out game for the Invaders, going 2-3 and bringing in 2 runs. For the Cowboys, James Prockish ended his night 2-4 at the plate. Prockish notched two RBIs and a walk in the affair. Drake Angeron also showed out in his Pecos League debut, going 2-4 with two singles, and scoring twice. The Cowboys and Invaders will go at it once again on June 1st at Joe Bauman Stadium. First pitch is slated for 7 pm MST.
