7/23/2026-Based on the attached July 23 box score, Roswell defeated Tucson 11-4 behind 11 hits and a four-RBI performance from Taylor Steig. Roswell Invaders Pull Away From Tucson for 11-4 Victory

The Roswell Invaders scored in six different innings and defeated the Tucson Saguaros 11-4 on Thursday night.

Roswell took control early by scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning and another in the second. Tucson answered with four runs in the fifth to tie the game, but the Invaders immediately reclaimed the lead with two runs in the bottom half of the inning.

Roswell continued to pull away with three runs in the sixth and single runs in the seventh and eighth innings.

Taylor Steig led the Invaders by going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs. Christopher Martinez added two hits and three RBIs, while Josh Cunniff drove in two runs.

Sean Moore collected two hits, scored three times, walked twice and stole three bases. Ryan Torres added two hits, scored twice and stole a base. Xander Nabors scored twice and drove in a run.

Orin Winslow earned the victory for Roswell, allowing four runs on 11 hits over seven innings. He struck out four and walked three. Colin Sepulveda finished the game with two hitless and scoreless innings.

Cedric Reynaud and Connor Kiefer each recorded two hits and an RBI for Tucson. Sloan Laird also drove in a run, while Diego Zuniga doubled and scored during the Saguaros four-run fifth inning.

Roswell improved to 26-16 with the victory, while Tucson fell to 20-24.
