6/9/2026- Santa Fe Fuego defeated the Roswell Invaders 9-6 on June 9, 2026.

Roswell jumped ahead with two runs in the first inning, but Santa Fe answered with two runs in the third and took control with four runs in the fourth.

The Fuego added two more runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to build a 9-3 lead. Roswell rallied late with two runs in the eighth and one in the ninth, but Santa Fe held on for the win.

Connor Hickey led Santa Fe by going 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored, and two RBIs. Alex Elliott went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, while Nick Tarantino scored three times and drove in two runs. Garrett Esposito added a home run and an RBI.

For Roswell, Taylor Steig went 4-for-5 with an RBI. James Harris went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs, while Colin Sepulveda had two hits and drove in a run.

Daniel Allard earned the win for Santa Fe, throwing 5.2 innings of relief while allowing one run on seven hits and striking out six.

Santa Fe finished with 9 runs on 12 hits and two errors. Roswell finished with 6 runs on 12 hits and one error.
