Alpine Cowboys Rally Past Roswell Invaders 8-2 on July 24 2025

July 24 2025 The Alpine Cowboys scored seven times in the eighth inning to pull away for an 8-2 victory over the Roswell Invaders at Kokernot Field. Alpine finished with 15 hits and improved to 28-22-1 while Roswell collected five hits and fell to 9-42-0.

Trevor Tripoli went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI for Alpine. James Prockish added two hits, a run and an RBI, while John Tuttle went 3-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI. Najay King drove in two runs, and Jake Sisto contributed a triple, a run and an RBI. Roswell’s five-hit attack included two hits from Yoinis Aleksandrov.

Parker Wakeman earned the win after allowing five hits and two runs over eight innings, striking out nine and walking two. Jesse Garcia finished with a scoreless ninth and two strikeouts. Phillip Sanders took the loss for Roswell despite allowing only two earned runs over 7.2 innings; he gave up 10 hits and struck out five. Alpine led 1-0 after the first inning and trailed 2-1 after Roswell scored in the eighth before its seven-run response turned the game decisively in the Cowboys’ favor.
