The Santa Fe Fuego (19-8) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 8-5 to the Roswell Invaders (19-15) on Monday.

The Roswell Invaders took the lead in the seventh inning on a two-run home run by Richard Colla.

Colla had two extra-base hits for the Roswell Invaders. He doubled in the sixth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Louie Saenz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Steven Romero got his third win for the Roswell Invaders despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Brandon Hollier ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

The Roswell Invaders were sparked by Michael Granda and Colla, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
