The Roswell Invaders (7-3) didnt have a chance on Thursday, as the Santa Fe Fuego (7-2) won in blowout fashion, 12-5 at Fort Marcy Park.

The Santa Fe Fuego scored five runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Chevas Numata, an RBI single by Nick Billinger, an RBI single by Joey LaCugna, an RBI single by LaCugna, and a sacrifice fly by Austin Carden.

Billinger racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Santa Fe Fuego.

Despite the loss, the Roswell Invaders Josh Mooney dominated the Santa Fe Fuegos batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Carden improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out eight, walked three and surrendered nine hits.

Taylor Reilly was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
